  • My husband wants a divorce. I’m committed to my marriage and love my husband dearly. We have been together for 10yrs and have an 8yr old daughter. I know that he is having an emotional affair (hoping that it hasn't gone beyond that point) with a co-worker whose husband left her. To add to the problem, my husband has surrounded himself with people who enable him to make poor choices. Another bad influence are the bars he hangs out into the wee hours of the morning with his friends. Several times now he hasn’t even bothered to come home. To add to the problem, my husband has rejected Godly counsel. He has no Godly men in his life (his choice, people have offered). He has told me he doesn’t feel connected to me anymore; there is no fire, but he won’t allow us to really try either which tears at my heart. When we are together (as a couple or as a family) he is constantly texting her (over 100 times per day). We have seen a licensed Christian marriage counselor for 6 visits (he won’t go anymore b/c it cost money). At our last session, my husband realized and admitted he is not the man he was. He has done a 180 degree turn and I don't think he is ready to go back to the way he was (he feels life cheated him out of what he deserved & earned) but I am hoping he will see the light God is shining on him, come around and hopefully be somewhere in the middle between who he was and what he has become. I can handle him not being the man he was for 28 plus years but I can't accept the man he is now. I know he has a good heart but his clouded thoughts, hurt feelings and his unhealthy coworker are polluting his mind and soul. I pray numerous times a day that God opens his eyes to the possibility of reconciliation, opens his eyes to the truth about his coworker and opens the eyes of his coworker so she realizes the damage she is truly causing to her family and to mine. I do my best not to think badly about her and have prayed for her and her family to find their path to God (just not on the same path we are on). I am speaking with my pastor often and my daughter and I are attending church and bible study regularly. I also know our marriage problems aren’t entirely my husband’s fault. For a long time I blamed myself. I sometimes tell myself, “If only I was more respectful, loving and supportive this never ever would have happened...If I could turn back time....". I fully understand that I did not betray him, cheat him in any way or lie to him. We both broke our marriage. My great sin was miss-communication, not being open about my needs & not being open enough for him to feel he could talk with me about his needs & hurts. I did not respect my husband verbally & through my actions (nagging and negativity) enough to which caused him a deep hurt which is what pushed him to look for someone else who could give him what he needs. Also he never talked with me about our relationship and how he felt and never sought to get help early on. I was blind I didn’t know there was a problem till he said it was to late. I don’t feel or believe it is too late for us! I pray it isn’t too late. I think God has pressed upon me to bring him to God and in turn he will eventually find his way back to me and our daughter. I have been reading the bible, love and respect books, working the Love Dare and I am actively practicing what I have come to learn; to give him the unconditional respect and love he needs from me (even when he doesn’t act appropriately). I have apologized directly to him for all of my misgivings and sins against him and I am consistently respecting him. I hope in time while we are taking things slowly (going through our things, fixing up our house, putting it up for sale and becoming financially more stable) that we will reconnect during this time and rebuild our marriage as it should be, under God’s guidance and authority. I’m trusting that God will see I’m trying to be the wife he wants me to be, I am honoring my covenant with God and my husband, I am trying to walk along side Christ and be more Christ like and raising my daughter that way and hopefully will show my husband the right path to God. I pray that God will influence my husband and help open my husband’s eyes, speak to him directly and show him the way back home. Please pray for our marriage to be restored and recreated in the way God wants for it to be; for my husband to hear and feel God’s love in his thoughts and dreams; to bring peace to his soul to help heal his hurt and to rebuild over that hurt a strong Christian-based foundation for our marriage rooted in God, love and respect.

  • Dear prayer warriors, please pray for our church elder here in Iligan City SDA Central Church, Elder Casiano Oclarit. He was hit by a motorcycle on his way home after setting up venue for a coming Revelation Seminar. He needs to undergo surgical operation on his head. He is currently at the ICU here in Mindanao Sanitarium and Hospital, but he is brain-dead with swelling so the operation has to be postponed. Please do help pray for his recovery. Thank you.

  • Please, help me pray for healing for my brother Angel Rivera. He had open-heart surgery for a triple-bypass last Friday, 24June and the doctors can’t wake him up. It has been 5 days today. Every time they try to wake him up, he gets agitated and his heart rate and blood pressure gets too high. Now the doctors just told us he is getting pneumonia. Please help me pray for a miracle.   • Good day. I am Aleksander, Adventist from Russia. Would you read my prayer request. Recently I have known that it is possible that my mother have cancer please pray for her and for my parent’s everlasting salvation. I am almost in despair as I am ill with schizophrenia, it is horrible and it steps back only when I drink psychotropic tablets that also don’t let me to live normal life and have healthy sleep, my life is empty because of them. I want to free from schizophrenia so that I could live without tablets, please pray for that. Pray that I could know what to do and could have power to live victorious Christian life and to overcome my sins that are very great. I also need very much to feel Gods presence in my life. I want to serve the Lord being healthy and I am still young for that. I am 33. My problem is that I cannot know whether I am free from schizophrenia until I forsake tablets, but if I do that schizophrenia comes back and I get into mental hospital, and life there is horrible so I am afraid to forsake tablets. Pray that if the Lord heals me from schizophrenia that I and my parents could know that certainly even if I accept psychotropic tablets that keep me far from my illness. You know, once I met Christ face to face, that was in December 2004 by night, approximately at 12 a clock, but I did not stand up and talk with Him. He would certainly heal me from schizophrenia that time already thou that time I didn’t know that my illness is so deep. I have lost 7 years after that in vain. Now I am very sorrow about that, but Christ does not come back and heal me from my disease. More over I have sinned recently and think that Christ will not have the kindness to answer my prayers and to favour me as my sins are great. And more over won’t come to me again and heal me from my disease. I think that Christ will heal me only if I see him face to face but it is difficult for me to live so that the Lord would come to me again, sometimes I try to fast as I did before his first approaching to me but he does not come and heal. It is difficult for me to live and not to be in despair. Because of the tablets I almost do not communicate with my relatives and in the church. I am in sorrow when others rejoice, and I cannot pray, I am just silent for several seconds in the morning, then tell to Him a few standard words and then begin to research on Bible theme. Because of my illness I cannot live by oneself and I do not know what will be with me when my parents die. Besides I am concerned about their everlasting life as there are not Adventists. Thank you for your prayer, it is really very necessary and valuable to me. I often lose heart and think of suicide. I hope that you will pray for me as long as possible.

  • My fiance and I have been waiting for each other for years. We didn't have much money, he was rebaptised after going through a rough patch- me along with him. He has stopped communicating before but when he resurfaced, told me that he had had a wonderful time with God. People keep asking how he is, when he is coming and when we are getting married but I don't know what to say. My Mum is a nervous person and if she found out that he was not communicating again, she would put lots of emotional pressure upon me. He lives abroad. Everything seems to be going wwell, e.g., spending wonderful, blessed moments together, preparing presentations for the LORD. Pastor once said there is not doubt he cares. This is the impression I got. He wanted to speak to me properly face-to-face about planning our wedding within the next couple of months. I thought it was reaching a conclusion. I was asked to speak for 5 minutes at training weekend. He was about to come then 1) flight cancelled due to snow, 2) He falls ill and in and out of hospital, resulting in me expecting him 3 times in recent months and he has not come. He was going to come for a retreat this weekend and i asked Conference Pastor to at last minute to keep a place for him so we could spend time together. He didnt come and even though it was free for us, I may have to pay for his place because I really don't want our region of the SDA conference to bare the cost. Now he is not answering my texts or calls so we haven't communicated for about 1 week which is very unusual as we normally communicate every day + send texts. So distressed. All my dreams seem to be getting shattered one by one. I am also so confused: don't know where I am going to live and thus how to earn an income and what is going to happen in my life. It has been a long, drawn-out, awful roller-coaster ride that has threatened my well-being and health. I don't know what has happened to him. Either the LORD is barring our way to protect us or Satan is trying to prevent us from finally coming together. Please pray he will speak to me this weekend and confirm what his intentions are If it is God's will for us to be together, please pray we will meet up very soon Please pray that he will know his calling from God walk in it so that we can walk together in love and unity to fulfil God's word and plan for our lives.

  • Hello i would like to request an urgent prayer for my auntie Mitou who had been going through chimo because of cancer. Her son who lives in Washongton went to see her in south of France she is in bad shape, but i know that God can heal her! My other auntie also has cancer her name is Christianne, in fact she is sheduled to have a breast removed in 2 weeks. They do notnbelieve in natural remedies. I know that God is the healer, and as God has completely healed me from bipolar 2 yars ago using natural remedies i know that cancer can be healed too. Also Kirk's sister SDA deacon who's sister has terminal cancer and is in bed alll the time! Please pray for them thank you Mr Chanoz

Dear Lord, I thank you Lord for you've always answered my prayers, I remember about two and a half years ago,I was tormented and I was the talk of people, you delivered me out of my torment and you ashamed the same people who were talking about me.I have come back to you again with the same faith, perhaps with confidence that Lord you are a deliverer.I ask you to help me out of my desperation.I've been looking for jobs, attended several interviews but i don't get a job which my heart desires.I am qualified. In our country corruption,nepotism and tribalism is a way of getting good and rewarding jobs.By now, it's gotten even worse. I can't find any rest, I worry about my job and my mortgage payments every night. I am currently under financial pressures and i can't meet all my financial obligations.I've tried business in the past but my partners have conned me and lost all the money in the process. I've assisted friends and relatives with my money but refused to pay me back despite having promised to pay back. I'm frustrated.I cannot relax or enjoy myself. I've a young family and I must say we are straining.I was so happy with current job but I can't meet all my financial obligations, i can't do all what I aspire to do. Dear Lord, please help me. Help me get out of my depression so I can function optimally at my job.   • Dear Pastors and church members, We are pastors, church leaders, church planters, and members in Cambodia. We would like to request you to: 1. Please pray for all God's workers in Cambodia to have freedom in serving God, to be not under power pressure of Mission President, Pr. Din Jackson, like nowadays, to have a pleasant mood in serving God and have their hope only on God like other countries around the world. 2. Please pray for about 30 church planters and church leaders who are dismissed by Pr. Din Jackson in only a few months after he has come to work in Cambodia. - Please pray that God be with them and make them feel good and closed to him as normal, that they live their life for His glory and get away from any obstacles, help them not to speak bad about God in every second, and to be good Christians to the rest of their life. 3. Please pray for those pastors who had been serving God for more than 10 years but now some were dismissed, some were suspended without proper reasons to be dismissed at all. And some asked to resign because they couldn’t stand the way that the President treated them. - We feel very sorry for some pastors whose members have their thumb printed asking Mission to keep their district pastors continue serving God but Pr. Din Jackson didn’t agree. Even Mission board, asked Mission to bring those issues to be discussed in the board meeting again but Pr. Din Jackson still didn’t listen. Since the establishment of Mission, we have never seen the President with the kind of attitude like Pr. Din Jackson's. So, we ask you to help pray that God opens a way for those pastors to come back and continue to serve God again. 4. Please pray for Mission in Cambodia to have a new good president who has work experiences, patient, and understands his own work and others' who are under his control referring to different nationality and countries. - Please pray for the President not to be happy in using his own power to pressure the workers like a person without God, and that he should listen to good opinions of other people around him. - Especially, please pray for the 3 ministries of Mission to be loving to others and co-operate together to be good leaders in Mission, instead of using their own power and ideas alone which can destroy Christians in Cambodia. We highly hope that God will open a wide way for many churches around the world to help pray for Cambodian Mission attentively.   • Hello i am requestion prayer because i am in Paris france and doing missionary work. I have had a massage business but things have turned wrong, the massage therapists have stolen from me, so God has told me to close up the business and to go back to america. Meanwhile i am distributing thousands of Bible tracts from my sda website bible-tube.com on the streets of Paris. Today i walked 9 hours in Paris streading the good news, and the Lord told me to request prayer for Him and the angels and the Holy Spirit to work in the minds and hearts seeing the bible tracts and the people who receive the Bible leaflets. And for the Lord to give me strength tomorow and the next days to continue because i have 10000 tracts left to distribute before mid decembre. Also if you could pray that the Lord touch the heart of the proplr at the dept of health, because years ago when i applied for the licenced massage therapist licence i put down in an answer that i used to take antidepressants, ans now the dept of health is giving me problems, i stoped taking medication 2 years ago and the Lord has healed me. Please if you could pray for Jesus to touch the people at the florida dept of health to finish this matter. And for the people in Paris to reveive the truth about Jesus and the SDA message, because no one comes to France to evangelize because it could be the hardest country in the world because of atheism. The Lord gave me a verse in AC ' Paul was waiting for them in Athens, his heart was moved within him when he saw the would city given to idolatry ' Thank you for your prayers may the Lord bless your endeavors.   • Please pray for our New Zealand Adventist family trapped in Malaysia. Suddenly suspended from Finance Manager / Chairman of Audit Committee in early 2003 and then fired in March 2003 while I was investigating allegations of cartel price fixing (http://www.youtube.com/user/RDSForensics#p/u/0/JuOrY6Osko8) and other irreg...ulariaties in Shell Aviation in Asia and USA. Being in Court in Malaysia since that date, banned from all work in Malaysia, - my old salary was USD100,000 tax free +, and still not had our case finished before the Malaysian Courts. In 2003 it got very serious when shortly after the court cases were filed we received recorded death threats. We have had 14 law firms take our case on, appear in Court then quickly resign before due deadlines and met and filed and with papers being 'lost' and removed from our control. We need your prayers to free us from this abuse against our right to justice under the clear Malaysian laws. My 9 year old has never been to school due to bans and abuses and threats. Meanwhile Shell has never seen any prosecution. Finally we gained a High Court win in 2009 against a Court Judge and Shell yet are still not allowed to work and live here with no funds and little support. Our local church has merely thrown us out of two SDA churches - saying go to another church, people are angry and meanwhile my children suffer. Please pass this around your prayer circles. We have involved SDA Risk Management on that abuse. Seems Satan is trying to stop us bring these cases against Shell for justice. My oldest daughter has Complete her 1st year in college A student who is giving in to the ways of this world. 1st semester she came home wearing make-up and pears her belly button and ears. At home are my twins boy and a girl 15years old the girl into one boy and the relationship is more serious than what I can handle. The other twin boy I question his sexuality. He to does extreamly well as his sister in college. Last is my little one who is will be 2, June 12, 2010 her father and I will be getting married sometime next year. Satan is running loose in my household. Also in our lives. We ask for special prayer to drive him out of our home and out of our lives. We ask that God come in and take control. Thank you.   • Dolores is deeply in love with me and I with her. I would love to marry her, but she suffers from Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD). The devil is using the MPD to ruin our relationship. Dolores is in denial and refuses to talk with me about it. Please pray that I will be able to get the money that I need for a car to get me back and forth to school and work. For Shane to not give our money away to those who do not need the money and for him to make getting us into our home for our babies the only priority he has. Prayer that Mr. Foster and Mr. Coleman will be given the wisdom to win the case for myself and my parents to get the inheritance money that was taken from us wrongly. Please pray that Shane will see how important it is for us to stay in Florida and close all other doors forever.
